Job Information

Our Toronto based client is seeking an SAP Trainer for a 3 year contract role starting in February.  This is onsite work, downtown Toronto.

Here are the requirements that I have:

Description:

  • Develop SAP Training materials (e.g. concepts, instructor guides, simulations, and exercises) as well as Training support materials (e.g. work instructions, procedures, quick reference guides, screen cams) including eLearning courses specifically for HR/Payroll and other areas as required with a focus on adult learning principles
  • Collaborate with process areas, teams and organization to ensure on-going continuous improvements
    • Contribute to the comprehensive training plan – End-user support document:

o   Role-based training curriculum to meet the project training needs
o   Analyze the user skills and knowledge gaps in line with the Training Manager
o   Prepare training facilities, including the development of the training database, as directed by the Training Manager
o   Schedule and communicate end-user training, as required
Deliver SAP Training to End-Users as required.

Skills desired:

  • Proficiency and familiarity in SAP 4.6 or higher in HR, Payroll, Procurement, Workforce Management and Materials Master, SuccessFactors, SAP HR Benefits, Compensation/Performance is desired.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a SAP Training Developer/Instructional designer with previous SAP Training development experience
  • Adult Learning experience focused on SAP training
  • Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skills
  • Previous experience in large scale SAP ERP implementation with focus on HR.
  • Expert level skills in Uperform/WBP,MS Office, Outlook, Project and Visio;
  • Proactive, detailed oriented and with high standards of work ethic
  • Public Sector and/or Transit or Transportation industry experiences is an asset.

Deliverables:

  • Assists with special projects as requested and acts as backup for other personnel as required;
  • Develops blended learning training material (HC, QRG, Participant Guides, User Specific Work Instructions, Job Aids, eLearning courses etc. as needed using SAP standards
  • Assists in the development of the Payroll and HR Training Curriculum
  • Delivers training in a classroom settings, training room logistics and set up as required for project teams and potentially end users
  • Co-ordinates meetings with business SME/BPO for information gathering for the development of training material highlighting potential concerns/risks or issues pertaining to training
  • Partners with Organizational Leads to capture all change impacts effecting training for business users

Applies knowledge and experience in support of troubleshooting technical issues
