About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ariba Developer for a contract engagement to support the development, integration, and technical enhancement of the SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (P2P) module.

This role is highly technical, requiring deep expertise in Ariba APIs, integrations, and middleware to ensure seamless connectivity between Ariba, ERP systems, and external applications. The developer will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom integrations between Ariba and SAP ERP (ECC / S4HANA) using middleware (SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, or equivalent).
• Develop and enhance Ariba APIs, cXML, EDI, and IDoc transactions.
• Support Ariba Network integration for suppliers, catalogs, and invoice flows.
• Participate in data migration and mapping activities for procurement and invoicing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to workflows, interfaces, and system performance.
• Deliver technical documentation, including specifications, mapping documents, and interface design.
• Support testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT) and assist in defect resolution.
• Work collaboratively with functional teams to implement custom enhancements and ensure business requirements are met.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as an Ariba Developer with a focus on Buying & Invoicing.
• Hands-on experience with Ariba APIs, cXML, EDI, and IDoc processing.
• Strong background in middleware technologies: SAP CPI (preferred), SAP PI/PO, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar.
• Knowledge of SAP MM / FI integration points for procurement and invoicing.
• Experience with Ariba Network integration (supplier collaboration, catalog enablement, invoice management).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in multiple end-to-end Ariba implementation projects.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Ariba Technical Certification.
• Exposure to other Ariba modules (Contracts, Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle).
