SuccessFactors (SAP) – Lead Architect
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced SuccessFactors Lead Architect to spearhead the growth, delivery, and innovation of large SAP SuccessFactors deployment. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end solution strategy, overseeing large-scale implementations, and cultivating strong client and partner relationships. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across SuccessFactors modules, proven leadership in building teams, and a vision for leveraging SAP’s HXM suite to deliver measurable business outcomes. The position is client-facing and requires French language fluency.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the strategy for the SAP SuccessFactors practice, aligning with organizational goals and market trends.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of consultants, architects, and analysts.
- Drive go-to-market initiatives, solution accelerators, and best practices.
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Lead pre-sales efforts, RFP responses, and client solutioning for complex SAP SuccessFactors programs.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery across multiple modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation, etc.).
- Act as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor for key clients, ensuring successful adoption and value realization.
People & Capability Development
- Mentor and coach consultants, fostering professional growth and certifications.
- Establish frameworks for knowledge management, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
- Collaborate with SAP and ecosystem partners to stay ahead of innovation and product roadmaps.
Qualifications
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in SAP HCM/SuccessFactors consulting and delivery.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing large teams and multi-module SuccessFactors programs.
- Strong track record in pre-sales, solutioning, and building client relationships at the executive level in a client-facing capacity.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Hands-on expertise in multiple SAP SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central required).
- Understanding of integration with SAP S/4HANA, Payroll, and third-party systems.
- Familiarity with project methodologies (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall).
Soft Skills
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to scale a practice and explore new offerings.
- Ability to work across geographies and manage diverse, global teams.
