About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Ariba Consultant to lead the implementation of the Buying & Invoicing (P2P) module. This role requires a unique blend of functional expertise in procurement and invoicing processes, paired with technical integration and configuration skills.

The consultant will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring both process requirements and technical execution align to deliver a successful Ariba deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for procurement, invoicing, and supplier collaboration.
• Configure Ariba Buying & Invoicing functionalities (workflows, approvals, catalogs, invoicing rules).
• Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between Ariba and SAP ERP (ECC / S4HANA) using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or middleware.
• Manage Ariba Network connectivity, catalog uploads, supplier enablement, and invoice automation.
• Implement and troubleshoot cXML, EDI, IDoc, and API-based integrations.
• Oversee data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT), performance tuning, and deployment.
• Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions for end-users.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Ariba functional and technical capabilities, providing guidance on best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of SAP Ariba experience with strong focus on Buying & Invoicing (P2P).
• Proven functional knowledge of procurement workflows, supplier management, and invoice processing.
• Strong technical expertise in Ariba integration with ERP systems.
• Hands-on experience with middleware (SAP CPI preferred, SAP PI/PO, Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of Ariba APIs, cXML, EDI, and IDoc processing.
• Understanding of SAP MM / FI modules and related P2P integration points.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Ariba Buying & Invoicing certification.
• Prior experience in multiple end-to-end Ariba implementations.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Exposure to additional Ariba modules (Contracts, Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle).
